Cape Cod Children’s Place/Sea Babies

is looking for volunteer substitutes for our early education programs. Qualified candidates must have experience with early childhood or elementary school age children, take initiative, and show enthusiasm for young children. EEC Certification is a plus.

In Conjunction with

The Guild of the Cape Cod Museum of Art presents an evening with Anne LeClaire

Join best-selling author Anne LeClaire for a viewing of “Divining the Human,” a short documentary about the artist John Nava and the creation of the paintings that became the basis for the Tapestries of the Saints at The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in LA. The film was the inspiration for her recent novel, “The Halo Effect.” A father shaken by tragedy tries to avenger his daughter’s murder and restore his family’s shattered life.  Anne will talk about how the film sparked the idea for her book and how one art form can birth others.

“The Defining Moment” Recapturing the Pendleton Rescue


A special 65th Anniversary Artist & Author Presentation featuring celebrated Muralist Tony Falcone, Theresa Mitchell Barbo, Cape Cod author of the Pendleton Disaster and Patricia Webber Hamilton, daughter of Bernard Webber, the young Massachusetts Coast Guardsman who led the heroic rescue of 32 crewmen from the stricken M/V Pendleton off Cape Cod in 1952.

The Magic of Bird Migration with Phil Kyle
