The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that their children will thrive. 

Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary (Orleans Branch)


The Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary, Orleans Branch, is dedicated to raising funds to assist Cape Cod Hospital achieve it's mission, which is to promote and expand Cape Cod Hospital facilities and services to the highest quality through volunteerism and philanthropy.


Cape Cod Village


Cape Cod Village’s mission is to meet the ongoing community and residential living needs of

adults on the autism spectrum.


Chatham Chorale


The Chatham Chorale is dedicated to performing the world's rich diversity of choral music and supporting the musical arts and artists on Cape Cod.

Creative Arts Center in Chatham

Established in 1969, the Creative Arts Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching and appreciation of the arts.


Eastham Council on Aging

The Council on Aging identifies the total needs of the community’s elderly population, educates and enlists support and participation of all citizens concerning these needs, designs, promotes or implements services to fill these needs, or coordinates present existing services in the community, and promotes and supports any other programs designed to assist elderly programs in the community.

Eastham Search Committee

This committee advises the Eastham Board of Selectmen, the Finance Committee and the Town Moderator about the names and qualifications of taxpayers’ of the town available to serve on multi-member bodies, and periodically reviews committee charges and makes recommendations to  consolidate, eliminate, add and/or recharge town committees. 

Elder Services of Cape Cod


Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc. (ESCCI) is a private, not-for-profit community-based organization dedicated to serving older adults in the twenty-two towns of Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties. It is the federally designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and the state designated Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) as well as the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC) for the three county area.  It is a central source of information and services enabling elders to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Friends of Snow Library


Friends of Snow Library is a non-profit 501c(3) organization which supports the Snow Library, its Trustees and staff with programs, activities, books and equipment not provided by town appropriations. The Friends provides a cultural bond with the citizens and visitors of Orleans through programs like Lifetime Learning, Book and Author Luncheons and many others. The Friends is the fund raising arm of Snow Library. Monies are raised through the use of the copy machine, book sales and other events.

Friends of The National Seashore

Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore (FCCNS) is the not-for-profit fundraising partner of the Cape Cod National Seashore, a partnership established to preserve, protect, and enhance the fragile environment and unique cultural heritage of the National Seashore.

HOW Helping Our Women

Provides direct services to women with chronic and life threatening and/or disabling illness that assist in performing a more manageable lifestyle. For more info go to the website


Homeless Prevention Council


The Homeless Prevention Council is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established to address homelessness in the eight towns on the Lower/Outer Cape.  The agency works with other advocacy groups, town agencies and churches to help people access housing, transportation, food, clothing and other needs.

Kiwanis Club of Lower cape Cod and Eastham

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.


Lower Cape Outreach Council

The mission of Lower Cape Outreach Council is to provide emergency assistance of food, clothing and financial support to residents of the 8 towns that constitute Lower Cape Cod and to follow up with services and support in the areas of employment and education.


Lower Cape TV 

Lower Cape Community Access TV is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) community based organization that manages channels 99 and 22 for the towns of Brewster, Eastham, Orleans, Truro, and Wellfleet.

Nauset Neighbors is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization with the mission to help senior citizens stay in their home and active in their communities as long as possible.  Volunteers provide Cape-wide transportation, handyman services, friendly visits, and computer help.  Nauset Neighbors is an all-volunteer organization, with no paid staff, providing services to over 300 members.

Open University of Wellfleet

Open University of Wellfleet offers courses to the public, for a modest fee, that celebrate the area's rich history and culture and draw on the talents and expertise of our residents. Our educational forum stresses collaborative learning, with lectures by instructors, directed discussions, readings and participant contributions.

Orleans Citizens Forum

The Orleans Citizens Forum is an all-volunteer, independent and non-partisan organization that provides public forums on topics important to the quality of life.


Payomet Performing Arts Center


Payomet is a non-profit (c)(3) performing arts organization committed to gradual and sustainable growth in order to produce exciting professional live music, circus, theatre and humanities events rooted in strong social values.


U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary


The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary promotes and improves recreational boating safety, provides trained crews and facilities to augment the Coast Guard and enhance safety and security of our ports, waterways, and coastal regions, and supports Coast Guard operational, administrative, and logistical Requirements.

Wellfleet Gardeners


The Wellfleet Gardeners is a group of plant and garden enthusiasts who gather once a month to share experiences and learn from speakers with expertise in specific fields. Meetings are open to the public.


Wellfleet Oyster Fest (Wellfleet SPAT, Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, Inc.)


Wellfleet SPAT, Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, Inc., is a non-profit 501 chartered in 2002 – the year after Wellfleet’s first OysterFest. SPAT is devoted to sustaining Wellfleet’s shellfishing and aquaculture industries.

WHAT (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater)


The Mission of Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is to present professional quality theater to its audiences; to provide an alternative theater experience not found elsewhere in the region; and to advance and preserve the art of the theater for the education and appreciation of the public.

WOMR (Outermost Community Radio)


WOMR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-commercial Community Radio station on Cape Cod that provides a media platform to present local, eclectic, entertaining, informative and educational programming, and  encourages community participation in all aspects of the station.
